About this product
What This Product Is and How It Works
Proson GB Silicon 280ML is a one-component silicone sealant that cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture to form a flexible, durable elastomeric seal. This sealant is engineered for general sealing tasks, including gaps, joints, and openings on non-porous and semi-porous substrates. It provides an effective barrier against water and air ingress, maintaining performance even as structures shift or expand.
Material Quality, Durability and Environmental Performance
The sealant’s silicone formulation offers strong resistance to moisture, UV exposure, and normal temperature variations found in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Once cured, it remains flexible and maintains adhesion, resisting cracking and shrinkage over time. Proson silicone sealants are weatherproof and suitable for applications where long-lasting sealing is needed.
Installation, Handling and Compatibility
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material before application. Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size, insert the cartridge into a caulking gun, and apply an even bead along the joint or gap. Tool the sealant within its skin time for a smooth finish.
Proson GB Silicon adheres well to glass, aluminium, tiles, ceramics, some plastics, and painted surfaces. Use in a well-ventilated area, wear protective gloves, and allow adequate curing time before exposing the seal to moisture or stress.
